My husband is from the South, and in the South, you drink sweet tea! Although sweet tea is delicious, there's a LOT of sugar in it. So for this nutrient-packed tea recipe, I was part inspired by a trip to Panama and part in need of a healthier alternative to sweet tea.

Sheesh, I love this time of year!! Santa Barbara FINALLY has a bit of chill in the air (for now). When I think of Fall, I think of everything, in general just smelling yummy. Whether it's a new, drool worthy candle (which I literally only buy this time of year for some reason), the warm, comforting food, the crisp, clean air, or the smell of my favorite leather jacket. JUST PURE YUM!

Finding healthy snack and lunch options can the "make or break" of you staying on track. I can vividly remember a day that I felt uninspired by my lunch that day and somehow convinced myself that I deserved the 7 pound burrito from my favorite Mexican food restaurant. Or course I ate it, and felt like shit (FOOD COMA). I realized that if I don't plan out my (delicious and easy) lunches and snacks, my decisions are left to my hungry brain and the results are never good.
